What fun times we live in, where entertainment seems to be at our fingertips. Where friends, family and foreign nations are more connected than ever, at lightening speed. Where my dreams can be visualized, written about, and made tangible in seconds through new advancements in technology. Where information, technology, and our capabilities are expanding rapidly.

What fickle times we live in, where all these positive advancements can be so available yet so far for some. Where one day we take 10 steps forward and the next 15 back. Where political, personal, relational decisions seem to fluctuate with every passing second. Where uncertainty is certain. Where feelings seem to bounce between extremes.

How frightening, fun, and fickle a time it is to be alive.

I fear we will be trapped in these fluctuating, unpredictable cycles. I also fear stagnation and monotony. I hope we can embrace the nuance, the grey areas, and settle in that discomfort, or i guess learn to live with the unsettled. I hope this is something we can do together rather than in isolation.
