From Youth Interview, Greater Toronto Area, 2023-2024: There are people that are on, let's just say, the side that isn't popularized by the media. Right. I think when their voice gets shut off, that just makes them resent the other side even more. So it's you're even prompting them not to hate the other side a lot more because it's almost like, well, shut up, shut up. You know, that's all you're telling them is, you know what I mean? You're not getting them to hear. So, like, they're like, Oh, well, you never heard our side anyways. How the fuck do you know? Right. And all that does is cause a divide even more. And you're going to fuel up and fuel up and fuel up and butt heads even more. You know, it's gaslighting, and I think it just makes it even worse. You know what I mean? Like they always say, even if you don't like somebody, hear them out. And so to go to like the environmental question that you have. Yeah, it's like if you want more people to do it, you know, hear out why they don't want to do it and kind of say like, All right, well, you know, and let them spew it out and kind of like. I don't know, it's like it's almost like a therapy kind of, you know, you gotta I see the collective almost as an individual. Right? That's really, really, you know, ignorant. And how do you get them to kind of go, well, you got to be you got to be very negotiable, you know, with them and go at their level to kind of make some progress as opposed to cutting that and be like, yo, fuck you. And then not, you know what I mean?
