This post explores the following areas of wellbeing:
When I was younger, I was drawn to meditation. I heard about it in Sunday school, from my favorite athletes and musicians, and even saw it in my cartoons and movies. However, I never truly paid attention to it. Instead, I focused on fighting against myself, others, and various challenges. I sought to be a fighter, feeling that I needed to be strong enough to suppress my emotions and push things away.
As I transitioned into young adulthood, I finally embraced meditation. It taught me the importance of listening and showed me the source of my true strength. Looking back, I realize that if I had taken the time to meditate, I could have avoided a lot of unnecessary struggles and confusion during my teenage years.
